The aim was to create an online platform where students from various institutions could not only view all events but also seamlessly purchase tickets, including coveted Revels T-shirts.

Our solution was a comprehensive web application that allowed student registration, event participation, and merchandise purchase with just a few clicks. To keep users engaged and informed, automated email notifications were set up, updating users at every stage – registration, event joining, team creation, and payment.

The Revels Event Management web application was further enhanced by introducing a unique panel system. A user-friendly interface was provided for event organizers to easily create, edit, and manage events. Access control was implemented, offering different levels of authorization based on user roles. A separate panel was developed for judges to allocate points for respective events. Additionally, a scanning app was developed for concert events, offering a streamlined experience for users.

The robust technology stack employed includes Angular and Bootstrap for frontend, Node.js for backend, and MongoDB 4.2 as the database. We harnessed the capabilities of AWS for cloud services, with Nginx Ubuntu 20.04 LTS serving as the server. Our process was managed using Trello and Gitlab, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient collaboration.
