The T.A. Pai Management Institute, a premier business school, identified a need for improved communication and better administrative management. They were looking for a solution to streamline student-teacher-administrator interactions, simplify appointment scheduling and leave applications, and promote a more responsive management system.
Guided by the institute’s needs, we designed an easy-to-use app with both student and administrative functionality in mind. This resulted in the TAPMI Mobile App, a platform that lets students log in using their registered mobile number and OTP for added security.
We utilized a robust tech stack for this project. Our architecture included a combination of PHP Laravel for both front-end and back-end, an Nginx Ubuntu 18.04 LTS server, MongoDB 4.2 database, and AWS Cloud. Development tools included Trello, Bitbucket, Visual Studio Code, Android Studio, and Xcode, which streamlined the process and ensured quality control.
Our solution not only simplified administrative tasks but also gave students a direct line to administration. With this system, students can apply for leaves, submit complaints, and request meetings. The management can review these requests and respond promptly, fostering an efficient and inclusive campus environment.
